Two cordyceps, one genus.
Wild Keeda Jadi, also written Keedajadi and known as Yarsagumba in Nepal, is Ophiocordyceps sinensis. It is hand-collected in the Pithoragarh and Chamoli districts of Uttarakhand during a brief spring window. It is a saffron-orange caterpillar host with a dark grey-brown stroma growing from the head end, and it cannot be farmed at scale. Price per gram, by grade, is on the Wild Keeda Jadi page.
Cordyceps militaris is the cultivated species, a bright orange club-shaped fruiting body, sold here as an 8:1 dual extract powder and as the whole dried mushroom. Cordycepin and adenosine are naturally occurring nucleoside analogs found in it. Our militaris extract discloses cordycepin ≥ 0.35 percent and polysaccharides ≥ 51.34 percent per batch.
