Two cordyceps, one genus.
Wild Keeda Jadi, also written Keedajadi and known as Yarsagumba in Nepal, is Ophiocordyceps sinensis. It is hand-collected in the Pithoragarh and Chamoli districts of Uttarakhand during a brief spring window. It is a saffron-orange caterpillar host with a dark grey-brown stroma growing from the head end, and it cannot be farmed at scale, which is what sets its price.
Cordyceps militaris is the cultivated species, a bright orange club-shaped fruiting body, sold here as an 8:1 dual extract powder and as the whole dried mushroom. Cordycepin and adenosine are naturally occurring nucleoside analogs found in it. Our militaris extract discloses cordycepin ≥ 0.35 percent and polysaccharides ≥ 51.34 percent per batch.
