This policy explains how alchemydose.com collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information. The site is operated by Nutradose Private Limited, E49/5, Pocket D, Okhla Phase II, Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi, Delhi 110020, India. For anything in this policy, write to connect@alchemydose.com or call +91 98711 77047.

We follow Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 together with its rules as they come into force.

1. What we collect

  • Contact and account details: your name, phone number, email address, and billing and delivery addresses.
  • Order and payment details: what you ordered, the amounts, and the payment method you chose. Your full card number, UPI PIN or banking credentials are handled by the payment provider at checkout. We never see or store them.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit on our site, and cookie identifiers.
  • Communications: your emails, WhatsApp messages and calls with our team, product reviews, and the photographs or videos you send us for a return or damage claim.

2. Why we use it

  • To process, pack, ship and deliver your orders, and to send you order and delivery updates.
  • To take payment and to screen orders for fraud.
  • To handle support requests, returns, refunds and grievances.
  • To meet legal obligations, including tax, food safety and consumer protection law.
  • To send you marketing messages by email or WhatsApp where you have opted in. You can opt out at any time.
  • To understand how our site is used and to measure and improve our advertising.

3. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with partners who help us run the store, and only what each partner needs for its job:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store, orders and customer accounts.
  • GoKwik, which runs our checkout, including address verification and cash-on-delivery confirmation.
  • Payment providers and banks that process the payment method you choose at checkout.
  • Shiprocket and its courier partners, which receive your name, phone number and delivery address to deliver your order.
  • Interakt, which powers our WhatsApp messages, for order updates and, where you have opted in, offers.
  • Meta and Google, whose advertising and analytics tools run on our site. See section 4.
  • Government bodies or courts, where the law requires us to.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and online advertising

Our site uses three kinds of cookies and similar tools:

  • Essential: these make the cart, checkout and login work. Blocking them will break checkout.
  • Analytics: these help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
  • Advertising: the Meta pixel and Google tags measure whether our ads work and help show you relevant ads on those platforms.

You can control cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage advertising preferences directly in your Meta ad preferences and your Google ad settings.

5. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as Indian law requires. In practice:

Information How long Why
Order, invoice, payment and tax records 8 years from the end of the financial year of the order Required by the Companies Act, 2013 and GST law
Return, refund and inspection records, including claim photographs 3 years after the case is closed To resolve any later dispute about the claim
Marketing preferences and contact lists Until you withdraw consent, or after 3 years without any engagement from you Marketing runs on your consent
Support conversations 3 years To serve you better if you return with the same issue
Advertising and analytics identifiers Held by Meta and Google under their own retention policies We do not keep a separate copy

When a period ends, we delete the information or strip it of anything that identifies you.

6. Where your data is stored

Some of our partners, including Shopify, Meta and Google, store data on servers outside India as well as inside it. We allow this as Indian law permits, and we require every partner to protect your information to the standards described in this policy.

7. Your rights

You can:

  • Ask for a summary of the personal information we hold about you and how we use it.
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date.
  • Ask us to delete your information, unless a law requires us to keep it, for example tax records.
  • Withdraw marketing consent at any time: reply STOP on WhatsApp, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to us.
  • Nominate another person to exercise these rights for you if you are unable to.

To use any of these rights, email connect@alchemydose.com with PRIVACY REQUEST in the subject line, from the email or with the phone number on your order, so we can verify it is you. We acknowledge every request within 48 hours and resolve it within one month.
